ChemFloc is a
primary flocculants speeds up the separation of solids from liquids in
raw sewage and produces a larger, heavier floc that settles faster,
dewaters rapidly filters better and improves water quality. The
treatment removes large amounts of BOD and suspended solids from the
primary effluent. This decreases the amount of secondary or activated
sludge as it increases the rate of sludge dewatering. There is less
secondary sludge formed per pound of BOD removed which fascinates all
phases of sludge treatment.
